Dubai has announced the completion of a comprehensive package of soft mobility and integrated transport infrastructure projects in the Al Quoz Creative Zone, marking a significant step toward enhancing urban connectivity and sustainable movement across the area.

Implemented under the supervision of the Higher Committee of Al Quoz Creative Zone, the project reflects Dubai’s commitment to people-centric urban development and creative-friendly infrastructure. One of the key highlights is the construction of a creatively designed pedestrian and cycling bridge on Al Manara Street, aimed at improving safe and seamless movement for pedestrians and cyclists.

The bridge spans 45 metres in length, with a width of 5.5 metres and a height of 6 metres, combining functional design with aesthetic appeal. The project also includes three mobility hubs, dedicated pedestrian and cycling tracks, and individual mobility facilities extending across four kilometres.

Connectivity within Al Quoz has been significantly strengthened, with improved access to Al Safa Metro Station and Al Quoz Bus Station, ensuring smoother integration between public transport and last-mile mobility options.

Looking ahead, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed that preparations are underway to implement the “Super Blocks” project in the area. This upcoming development is expected to further enhance walkability, reduce traffic congestion, and support Al Quoz’s evolution as a vibrant creative and cultural hub.

The initiative aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of sustainable transport, urban innovation, and the creation of inclusive spaces that support creative communities and economic growth.
