Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed highlights private sector collaboration as agreements span clean energy, artificial intelligence, and industrial supply chains.

MUNICH — September 11, 2026 : UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the Germany-UAE Business Forum in Munich on Friday, where commercial leaders and government officials formalized 30 agreements valued at approximately €9.66 billion ($10.5 billion) across strategic industrial sectors.

The summit, convened during Sheikh Mohamed’s state visit to Germany, gathered corporate executives, sovereign investment heads, and cabinet officials from both nations to accelerate bilateral investment pipelines.

Addressing delegates, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized that private enterprise remains essential to driving the long-term strategic partnership between Abu Dhabi and Berlin. He urged business leaders to expand capital allocation toward high-yield, innovation-led initiatives that reinforce supply chain resilience.

The 30 signed accords span renewable energy, oil and gas infrastructure, artificial intelligence, industrial manufacturing, logistics, ports, aviation, healthcare, and food security.

Bilateral discussions focused heavily on transitioning green energy research and applied artificial intelligence into operational infrastructure. German corporate leaders in attendance outlined plans to integrate high-efficiency engineering into Gulf logistics networks, while UAE delegations pursued joint venture opportunities in European advanced manufacturing.

Delegates concluded roundtables on industrial decarbonization, advanced transport systems, and pharmaceutical supply chains, establishing working groups tasked with monitoring cross-border project execution over the next fiscal cycle.
