Dubai Metro services on the Red Line resumed normal operations on Sunday morning after a short disruption caused by a technical issue, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said.
The temporary interruption impacted Metro services between Al Garhoud and Union stations, prompting RTA to deploy replacement bus services to assist passengers during the disruption.
RTA reported that the issue was identified at 8:36 am, and Metro services were fully restored by 9:00 am, with maintenance teams acting swiftly to resolve the situation and minimise passenger delays.
The authority reiterated that passenger safety and service reliability remain top priorities and thanked commuters for their cooperation during the brief disruption.
