In a collective effort to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, Al Manar Islamic Centre and the Indian Islahy Centre, Al Quoz, are jointly organising the “Ahlan Ramadan” programme on Sunday, February 1, at 6:30 PM, at the Al Quoz Al Manar Ground.
The programme aims to spiritually prepare believers for Ramadan by highlighting the significance of fasting, the moral values to be upheld in personal and social life, special prayers observed during the holy month, and the importance of social service and community welfare.
Renowned Islamic scholars and writers K.M. Faizi Thariyode, Abdus Salam Mongam, and Mansoor Madani will address the gathering, presenting talks on various aspects of Ramadan. An interactive question-and-answer session will also be held to clarify doubts related to fasting and religious practices.
The organisers stated that elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure the success of the programme. A.P. Abdussamad, President of the UAE Indian Islahy Centre, and Abdul Wahid Mayyeri will serve as chief patrons, while Noushad Koyakkutti is the General Convener of the event.
