The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai has extended a special welcome to delegates arriving for the World Governments Summit 2026, a premier global forum shaping the future of governance.

Delegates from over 150 countries, including more than 500 ministers from over 60 nations, were received at Dubai airports using a custom passport stamp featuring the summit logo, emphasizing Dubai’s commitment to world-class hospitality and administrative efficiency.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, stated that the initiative underscores Dubai’s role in global governance innovation and highlights its leadership in shaping the future of governments worldwide.

The three-day summit, themed “Shaping Future Governments”, brings together heads of state, government leaders, ministers, experts, and representatives from international organizations. The event will feature over 320 sessions and activities covering leadership, economic growth, social welfare, urban resilience, and emerging technologies.

GDRFA Dubai officials emphasized that the special reception not only enhances the delegates’ experience but also reinforces the UAE’s reputation for providing modern and efficient services during high-profile international events.
