Civil aviation across the Gulf remains heavily disrupted as regional airspace closures triggered by the US-Israel war on Iran continue to impact flight operations. While most scheduled services remain suspended, all four UAE national airlines and select international carriers are operating special or limited flights.
Here’s the latest airline-by-airline update:
🇦🇪 UAE National Airlines
Emirates
All scheduled Emirates flights to and from Dubai remain suspended until 11:59 pm (UAE time), March 7 due to regional airspace closures.
However, the airline is operating a limited number of flights. Priority is being given to customers with earlier bookings. Transit passengers in Dubai will only be accepted if their onward connection is operating.
Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport unless directly notified by Emirates or holding a confirmed booking.
Etihad Airways
All scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi are suspended until 2 pm (UAE time), Thursday, March 5.
Some repositioning, cargo, and repatriation flights may operate in coordination with UAE authorities and subject to strict operational approvals.
flydubai
flydubai partially resumed its schedule on March 3, operating limited flights from Terminals 2 and 3 at Dubai International (DXB).
Passengers travelling within the next 72 hours can rebook an alternative flight within 20 days of their original travel date free of charge.
Customers are advised not to travel unless contacted directly or holding confirmed bookings.
Air Arabia
Air Arabia flights to and from the UAE remain suspended until 3 pm (UAE time), Monday, March 9.
A limited number of flights are operating in coordination with authorities. Only passengers notified directly should proceed to the airport.
