Dubai:
In celebration of Bahrain’s National Day, Dubai International Airport extended a warm welcome to passengers arriving from the Kingdom of Bahrain. The initiative was organised by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai as a gesture of friendship and solidarity with the sister nation.
As part of the celebrations, Bahraini travellers were received with a special passport stamp bearing the message “Bahrain, Heart and Eyes”, symbolising the deep affection and unity between the two countries.

The celebrations at the airport highlighted the long-standing historical ties and strong brotherly relations between the UAE and Bahrain, aimed at reinforcing mutual respect and people-to-people connections.
Dubai Airport made special arrangements for the occasion, including the display of Bahraini flags at passport control counters, dedicated lanes for Bahraini passengers, and frontline officers wearing scarves in the national colours of Bahrain. GDRFA mascots Salam and Salama welcomed travellers, while smart gates were illuminated in the colours of the Bahraini flag. Passengers were also presented with commemorative gifts.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, said the UAE takes pride in sharing the joy of Bahrain’s National Day, adding that the UAE–Bahrain relationship stands as a model of cooperation built on brotherhood, mutual understanding and joint action.
The celebrations at Dubai Airport made the travel experience more memorable for passengers and reaffirmed the warmth of UAE–Bahrain relations to the world.
