Temperatures may touch 44°C in inland regions as humid nights, light winds and partly cloudy skies continue across the Emirates

Dubai: The UAE is expected to experience generally fair weather conditions throughout the week, with temperatures gradually rising across several parts of the country, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

Forecasters said inland areas could see temperatures climbing as high as 44°C, while coastal and island regions are likely to record highs between 33°C and 39°C. Mountain areas are expected to remain relatively cooler, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to 32°C.

The weather department has predicted fair to partly cloudy skies across the Emirates through Thursday, with stable atmospheric conditions dominating most regions. Humid weather is also expected during the night and early morning hours, especially in coastal and internal areas.

According to the forecast, winds will remain light to moderate, blowing from southwesterly to northwesterly directions at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h. At times, wind speeds could increase to 40 km/h in some areas, particularly during the daytime.

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to become rough westward during daytime hours before gradually turning moderate to slight later in the day. Meanwhile, the Oman Sea is forecast to remain slight throughout the period.

On Monday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, accompanied by increased humidity overnight and into Tuesday morning. Meteorologists have also warned of possible mist or fog formation in western regions during late-night and early morning hours.

From Tuesday to Thursday, the UAE is likely to continue experiencing largely fair weather, with occasional low clouds appearing eastward. Winds are expected to remain mostly light to moderate, while sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are forecast to stay slight.

The latest weather update comes as residents across the UAE prepare for hotter summer conditions, with daytime temperatures steadily increasing across inland parts of the country.
