Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Italian football club AC Milan have launched a collaborative artwork by Emirati artist Fatima Al Kaabi to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
The initiative forms part of Dubai Culture’s ‘Eid in Dubai’ campaign under the ‘Season of Wulfa’, which aims to strengthen social bonds, celebrate Emirati heritage, and promote community values across the emirate.
The artwork combines AC Milan’s iconic Rossoneri visual identity with geometric patterns inspired by Al Sadu, the traditional Emirati weaving art recognised on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
Designed as a special Eid greeting card, the piece incorporates AC Milan’s traditional red, black, and white colours alongside artistic elements reflecting the UAE’s local environment and cultural identity.
Dubai Culture said the collaboration aligns with its broader commitment to preserving local heritage while providing Emirati creatives with opportunities to showcase their work on international platforms.
The artwork will be featured across AC Milan’s official communication channels, extending its visibility to millions of football fans worldwide.
Since opening its regional headquarters, “Casa Milan Dubai,” in 2023, AC Milan has expanded its presence across the Middle East through cultural and sporting partnerships. The club currently engages with a regional fan base of more than 11 million followers.
The collaboration reflects the growing intersection between global sports brands and cultural initiatives in the UAE, particularly during major festive occasions such as Eid Al-Adha.
