Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 marked the Eid al-Adha celebrations with Palestinian patients receiving treatment at the UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt, creating a festive atmosphere for patients, their families, and medical staff.
The humanitarian initiative shared Eid celebrations with Palestinian patients and their companions, alongside Emirati medical and administrative teams, hospital workers, and their families through a series of cultural and recreational activities aimed at spreading joy during the holiday period.
During the occasion, the operation extended congratulations and Eid greetings to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE leadership, Crown Princes, and Rulers of the Emirates.
Officials reaffirmed the operation’s commitment to continuing humanitarian and relief efforts in support of the Palestinian people by helping ease suffering and promoting solidarity and humanitarian unity during Eid.
The celebration was organised as part of the hospital’s broader efforts to provide psychological and emotional support to patients and their companions, many of whom are undergoing difficult medical treatment away from their homes and families.
The event featured entertainment programmes, competitions, children’s activities, and gift distribution for patients and accompanying families, reflecting the hospital’s mission of combining medical care with emotional and moral support.
The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish regularly organises social and recreational activities designed to improve patient morale and support recovery journeys alongside the medical, surgical, and therapeutic services provided to injured individuals and patients arriving from the Gaza Strip.
The initiative forms part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza through healthcare, relief, and aid programmes.
