Dubai Mall has announced that its public parking facilities have reached full capacity as thousands of residents and tourists continue to flock to the destination during the Eid Al Adha holiday period.
Electronic signboards across Dubai displayed messages advising visitors to use public transport instead of driving to the mall. Authorities and mall management encouraged visitors to take advantage of the Dubai Metro, public bus services, and dedicated shuttle services operating to and from the popular destination.
The mall has witnessed exceptionally high footfall throughout the long Eid holiday weekend, attracting families and tourists seeking entertainment, shopping, and festive activities. Dubai Mall offers more than 14,000 parking spaces across multiple zones and introduced a paid parking system in 2024.
To celebrate Eid Al Adha, the mall has organised a wide range of cultural and entertainment activities. Visitors have been treated to special “Eid Mubarak” displays at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, traditional Al Ayala performances, and Al Youla cultural shows taking place at various locations throughout the mall.
The entertainment programme continues until May 31, with performances scheduled from 2pm to 10pm daily. The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is also hosting educational workshops and animal encounters for ticket holders.
Meanwhile, the Dubai Ice Rink is offering live DJ sessions and special skating performances, while KidZania Dubai has organised dance shows and family-friendly entertainment for younger visitors.
Guests can also enjoy attractions around Downtown Dubai, including the Dubai Fountain and light displays on the Burj Khalifa. During Eid celebrations, the Burj Khalifa displayed “Eid Mubarak” greetings in both Arabic and English.
With several days of holiday activities still remaining, authorities have urged residents to plan journeys in advance, monitor traffic updates, and consider public transport options to minimise congestion around the area.
Dubai Mall remains one of the UAE’s most visited destinations during major holidays, with visitor numbers expected to remain high through the end of the Eid break.
