The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai secures the ‘Overall Winner’ title, dominating the regional platform with multiple gold and silver awards.
DUBAI: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai has achieved a monumental milestone in public service and institutional excellence by winning six major awards at the prestigious Gulf Customer Experience Awards (GCXA) 2026. Recognizing organizations that deliver exceptional consumer journeys, the platform crowned GDRFA Dubai as the ‘Overall Winner’ for securing the highest number of awards at this year’s edition.



This grand achievement highlights GDRFA Dubai’s continuous commitment to developing human-centric, future-proof government services. The Directorate dominated the competition by winning four Gold awards across critical categories: ‘Customer at the Heart of Everything’ for prioritizing people in service design, ‘Best Digital CX’ for creating seamless and accessible digital channels, ‘Best Use of Customer Insight and Feedback’ for utilizing user opinions to improve services, and ‘Best Innovation in CX’ for pioneering creative operational solutions.
In addition to the gold clean sweep, GDRFA Dubai also secured a Silver award in the ‘Best CX Strategy’ category for its successful implementation of comprehensive consumer-centric policies. Through a powerful blend of innovation and digital technologies, the Directorate continues to ensure smooth, proactive service delivery that anticipates public needs.
Brigadier Abdusamad Hussein Suleiman, Assistant Director General of the Leadership and Future Sector at GDRFA Dubai, stated that this recognition directly reflects the strategic vision and guidance of the upper management.
