Two-day consular drive on July 18 and 19 aims to assist Indian expatriates with document attestation and passport services.
SHARJAH — July 15, 2026 — The Sharjah Indian Association, in coordination with the Consulate General of India in Dubai, will host a special consular attestation camp this weekend. The two-day service camp is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, 2026, running from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days. The initiative is designed to provide streamlined administrative support to the large Indian expatriate community residing in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
The special consular drive aims to facilitate various essential documentation procedures, including the attestation of commercial, personal, and educational documents, as well as power of attorney declarations. By organizing this weekend camp, the association provides a convenient alternative for working professionals and families who find it difficult to visit the main consulate premises in Dubai during regular weekday working hours.
Officials from the Sharjah Indian Association stated that all necessary institutional arrangements have been completed to manage the expected influx of applicants smoothly. In addition to standard document attestation, representatives will be available to guide applicants through passport renewals, affidavit verifications, and other consular welfare inquiries.
Applicants are advised to carry original identification documents, including valid Indian passports and Emirates IDs, along with required photocopies and pre-filled application forms where applicable, to ensure efficient processing.
