The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a temporary closure affecting motorists travelling to Al Warqa, as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades in the area.
According to the RTA, the entrance to Al Warqa 1 from Ras Al Khor Road will be closed for essential road works under the Al Warqa area access and exit development project. The closure will be in place from 1:00am on December 28 until 1:00am on December 29.
The project aims to enhance traffic flow, improve road safety, and provide smoother access and exit points for residents and commuters using the busy corridor. During this period, motorists are advised to follow posted traffic signs and instructions from authorities.
The RTA has urged drivers to allow extra travel time to avoid delays and congestion and to remain informed by checking updates on the authority’s official website and social media platforms.
Thanking the public for their cooperation, the RTA said the temporary inconvenience is necessary to support long-term improvements to Dubai’s road network.
