Anticipating a significant increase in passenger traffic during the winter holiday season, Sharjah International Airport has announced comprehensive preparations to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of service for travellers.

Airport authorities confirmed that a series of operational measures have already been implemented to efficiently manage passenger flow while maintaining service quality. Travellers are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure and to make use of available digital and fast-track services to speed up procedures.

Passengers flying with Air Arabia have been encouraged to utilise the City Check-in service, which allows them to complete travel formalities in advance and proceed directly to immigration upon arrival at the airport. The airline has also introduced a Home Check-in service, offering added convenience.

Sharjah Airport currently provides a wide range of facilities, including self check-in kiosks, baggage drop services, smart gates, fast-track options, and the Hala service. To further enhance the passenger experience, the Al Diyafah Lounge has recently opened at the main entrance to the departure area.

In addition, staffing levels across operational zones have been increased to ensure faster processing during peak hours. Airport officials stated that these initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and deliver a seamless travel experience throughout the winter season.
