‘Hala Mohanlal’ scheduled for UAE National Day becomes the first Malayalam stage production featured on the official Dubai Calendar
DUBAI, Oct. 24, 2026 : Malayalam cinema icon Mohanlal will lead an ensemble cast of actors, musicians, and dancers at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, marking the UAE’s 55th National Day with a live production titled ‘Hala Mohanlal – A Complete Lalettan Show’.
Event organizer Equity Plus confirmed that the production has been officially listed on the Dubai Calendar of Events, making it the first Malayalam-language stage production to receive official inclusion on the emirate’s premier entertainment registry. The single-night performance coincides with the country’s national holiday, designed as an artistic tribute from the Indian expatriate community to the UAE.
Leading the performance alongside Mohanlal is actor Manju Warrier. The duo, celebrated for several defining cinematic collaborations across three decades, will headline a program featuring custom choreographies, retrospective film performances, and original comedy sketches written for the arena production.
The stage production brings together prominent comedy performers and character actors, including Kalabhavan Shajohn, Azees Nedumangad, Niyas Backer, Vinod Kovoor, Riyas Narmakala, and Sowmya Bhagyan Pillai.
Live music segments will feature vocalists Sithara Krishnakumar, Vidhu Prathap, and Shafi Kollam, performing selections spanning contemporary hits and vintage film scores. The production’s dance ensembles will be spearheaded by Ramzan Muhammed, Saniya Iyappan, Mokksha, and Dayyana Hameed.
Equity Plus stated that the performance is structured as a cultural celebration uniting generations of Malayali residents living across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Coca-Cola Arena, an indoor multipurpose venue in City Walk with a capacity of up to 17,000, will host the entire staging.
Public ticketing opened through official authorized platforms, including coca-cola-arena.com and Platinumlist. The organizers have introduced an early-bird concession offering a 20 percent discount on select tiers ahead of the December holiday rush.
