Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed reviews operational readiness for the upcoming eighth edition at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, Sept 30, 2026 : The eighth Abu Dhabi International Boat Show is set to return this November as its largest edition to date, bringing together international yacht builders, equipment manufacturers, and marine technology firms at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Operational plans for the four-day event, running from November 19 to 22 at Marina Hall, were reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, organizers confirmed.
The annual maritime trade and lifestyle exhibition is organized by ADNEC Group, part of Modon Holding, under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan. Briefings presented to leadership detailed logistics, confirmed exhibitor rosters, participating international shipyards, and waterfront programs scheduled along the marina.
Sheikh Hamdan credited the expansion of the maritime event to the economic vision championed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aimed at cementing the country’s standing as an international commercial and industrial maritime center while preserving local maritime traditions.
“The success of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show and the continued growth of the marine sector reflect the vision of the President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to strengthen the nation’s position as a global hub for marine industries and events,” Sheikh Hamdan said. He pointed out that supporting specialized domestic exhibitions enables local manufacturers to secure regional and global distribution networks through cross-border partnerships and industrial knowledge transfer.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADNEC Group, confirmed that the 2026 exhibition will record the highest volume of commercial participation since its inception. Displays will encompass luxury yachts, recreational vessels, fishing gear, and maritime leisure technologies from regional and international builders.
Alongside commercial trade stands, organizers have scheduled live on-water boat demonstrations, sea trials, and interactive activations across the marina to engage boat owners, industry professionals, and water sports enthusiasts.
