Health screenings, gifts, and recreational events held across Al Ain, Al Dhafra, and Musaffah to honor the workforce’s contribution to the nation’s progress.

ABU DHABI: Marking International Workers’ Day with a strong emphasis on social responsibility, the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters launched a series of humanitarian and community-driven initiatives across the emirate. The events, held in key industrial and residential hubs including Musaffah, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, were designed to promote the well-being of workers and recognize their pivotal role in the UAE’s development journey.

Health and Wellness at the Forefront

In the Musaffah Industrial Area, the Musaffah Police Station collaborated with Life Care Hospital and the Municipal Presence Center to host a community program at the “Bazaar” market. The initiative offered workers free medical check-ups conducted by specialized health professionals, aiming to boost health awareness and encourage preventive care. Alongside the clinical services, the event featured entertainment activities and competitions that fostered a vibrant, celebratory atmosphere.

Colonel Yousef Mohammed Al Muhairi, Director of Musaffah Police Station, stated that these initiatives are a reflection of the Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to the values of positivity and tolerance. He emphasized that enhancing the psychological and social well-being of the workforce is central to the strategic objective of “Quality of Life and Community Security.”

Field Support and Recognition

Recognizing the challenges of outdoor labor as temperatures rise, the Al Mirfa Police Station under the Al Dhafra Police Directorate organized a field initiative to distribute cold beverages and light meals to workers at their job sites. This gesture served as a token of appreciation for their dedication under demanding environmental conditions.

In Al Ain, the “Happiness Patrol” from the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, in coordination with the Al Ain City Municipality, visited various locations to distribute gifts and essential supplies. Additionally, the Police Officers Club Section in Al Ain provided symbolic gifts to workers to express gratitude for their ongoing contributions to the country’s comprehensive development.

A Positive Impact on the Workforce

The recipients of these initiatives expressed their gratitude, noting that such humanitarian gestures provide a significant moral boost. Workers praised the Abu Dhabi Police for fostering a culture of respect and appreciation, affirming that these community partnerships motivate them to continue their contributions to society with a positive spirit.

These celebrations underscore the UAE’s broader commitment to maintaining a dignified and supportive environment for its diverse workforce, ensuring that those who help build the nation are celebrated and protected.
