Aster DM Healthcare to scale its regional workforce to 4,100, integrating digital health solutions, home care, and specialized sub-specialty centers across the emirates.

DUBAI:Aster Clinics UAE, the primary healthcare arm of Aster DM Healthcare GCC, has unveiled a AED 100 million strategic expansion plan to scale its network from 85 to over 100 clinics across the UAE by 2030. The expansion comes in response to a 15 percent annual surge in patient volume and growing demand for accessible primary care.

The AED 100 million capital investment will fund new clinical facilities, upgrade existing locations, and boost the workforce to 4,100 employees. The strategic roadmap incorporates new specialty centers, enhanced in-clinic diagnostics, expanded home care services, and digital integrations via the myAster platform.

The expansion addresses shifting healthcare demographics in the UAE, where outpatient services account for over 70 percent of total healthcare interactions. Aster’s model focuses on a “10-to-15 minute access” neighborhood strategy, placing primary care facilities within high-density residential corridors and emerging communities across all emirates.

Key clinical developments include sub-specialties such as the “clinic-within-a-clinic” model for diabetes care, integrated orthopedic and physiotherapy units, and expanded women’s and children’s health services. Recent additions include the Jaddaf clinic, the Aster Diabetes 360 Care Clinic, and the Aster Children’s Clinic in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Aligned with preventative care models, Aster is also introducing specialized wellness portfolios, including IV therapies, peptide-based treatments, senior care under “Age Well with Aster,” and women’s wellness through the “Care for Her” program. Digital continuity will be managed via the myAster application, supported by home consultations, nursing, and diagnostics through Aster at Home.

Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, stated that the UAE remains the group’s core long-term market. She noted that the growth strategy combines clinical excellence, digital innovation, and community-centered care to build a sustainable healthcare model.

Dr. Sherbaz Bichu, CEO of Aster Hospitals and Clinics UAE, Bahrain, and Oman, emphasized that quality healthcare must remain accessible and affordable for all segments of society, supporting the nation’s vision for an inclusive healthcare ecosystem.

Manish Jain, Deputy CEO of Aster and Access Clinics UAE and Bahrain, added that the structured expansion aligns with population growth and ensures continuous clinical value across both new and existing facilities.
