The global travel technology leader will power discussions on agentic AI, predictive analytics, and real-time booking integration at the September event.

DUBAI, UAE — Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 has selected Sabre Corporation as the official Strategic Partner for ATM Travel Tech, its newly expanded dedicated event focused on the digital transformation of global tourism.

The partnership comes as the travel industry shifts from conversational artificial intelligence toward autonomous, action-oriented systems capable of executing complex bookings in real time.

Held under the theme “Travel 2040: New Horizons Through Innovation and Technology,” ATM 2026 will take place from September 14 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Travel Tech segment will feature more than 180 exhibitors from 30 countries across two dedicated halls, incorporating an 850-square-metre Tech & Innovation Hub.

The Shift to Action-Oriented AI

As artificial intelligence matures, major software providers are moving beyond basic search recommendations to “agentic AI”—systems that can manage complete itineraries without human intervention.

Sabre, which processes more than 11 billion shopping requests monthly and handles roughly 14,000 transactions per second, reported a doubling of active partners using its Agentic APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, growing from 30 in the first quarter to over 60 in the second quarter. The MCP server acts as a secure translation layer between third-party AI agents and travel booking engines.

Chad Callahan, Director of Product Marketing at Sabre, noted that travelers expect backend systems to operate seamlessly without manual friction.

“With AI moving from providing answers to taking action, Sabre’s role is to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade technology that connects those experiences to the systems powering travel,” Callahan said. “This means converting traveler intent into actionable, bookable, and manageable journeys.”

Industry Impact and Scale

Travel technology has become a primary driver of commercial decisions for airlines, hoteliers, and travel agencies adjusting to post-pandemic demand shifts.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME for RX Global, emphasized that integrating industry leaders like Sabre provides necessary technical depth to discussions on the event’s “Future Stage.”

“Technology is now central to almost every commercial decision made across the travel ecosystem,” Curtis said. “By bringing together technology leaders, travel companies, and policymakers, ATM provides a platform to address shared challenges and identify opportunities that will shape the sector for decades to come.”

ATM Travel Tech will cover areas including interactive artificial intelligence, robotics, financial technology, smart mobility, and virtual reality, offering startups and enterprise providers a platform to present deployment-ready software.
