Dubai: The Community Development Authority has successfully graduated the second cohort of the Parental Well-Being Programme under the Wesal – Positive Parenting Initiative, as part of the UAE’s Year of the Family.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of CDA, H.E. Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, CEO of the Knowledge Fund Establishment, and Mr. Graham Paris, Director of Dubai Schools at Taaleem.
The programme aims to strengthen family stability by equipping parents with modern parenting skills and effective communication techniques to better support children’s emotional and social development. It also focuses on enhancing trust within families, managing parenting challenges, and promoting positive family values.
Officials said the initiative contributes to the goals of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 by improving quality of life and building a more cohesive, stable, and prosperous society.
