The innovative global initiative aims to integrate cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence into urban planning and sustainable community spaces.

DUBAI: The Government of Dubai has officially launched an ambitious global competition challenging innovators, architects, and tech enthusiasts to design a futuristic public park utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI). Announcing a total prize pool of AED 200,000, the initiative aims to redefine urban spaces by merging advanced technology with sustainable community living.

The competition underscores Dubai’s commitment to becoming a global hub for future technologies and smart governance. Participants are expected to leverage generative AI tools to draft comprehensive architectural layouts, eco-friendly infrastructure designs, and smart visitor management systems. The primary focus remains on creating a space that enhances the quality of life for residents while preserving ecological balance.

Authorities highlighted that submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, technological integration, sustainability, and feasibility. The winning concept will offer a visionary blueprint for how next-generation public parks can adapt dynamically to human needs and environmental changes.

Dubai has consistently been at the forefront of AI adoption in the Middle East. Under its broader digital transformation strategy, the emirate actively seeks to integrate AI across public services, infrastructure, and urban planning to foster a sustainable, forward-looking metropolis.
