Key service locations and digital channels to remain operational across Dubai to ensure uninterrupted residency and visa services during the public holiday.
DUBAI, August 27, 2026:The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has announced revised operational hours for its Customer Happiness Centres and service channels ahead of the public holiday for the Prophet’s Birthday on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Dubai’s residency authority confirmed that the schedule adjustment aims to maintain uninterrupted service delivery for residents and visitors during the holiday period.
Under the temporary schedule, the Public Services Department in Al Aweer will operate from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The Al Manara Municipality Centre and the Free Zone section in Al Twar will both accept visitors between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Essential round-the-clock emergency and entry services will continue without interruption. The GDRFA service center at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 Arrivals will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Officials encouraged members of the public to utilize official digital channels to complete transactions remotely without visiting physical centers. GDRFA services remain accessible 24/7 through its official website (gdrfad.gov.ae) and the Dubai Now smart application.
