Applicants must meet specific financial criteria, including maintaining a $4,000 bank balance over six months, under guidelines detailing entry limits and digital application channels.
DUBAI, UAE:Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs has outlined the eligibility criteria and application procedure for its five-year multiple-entry tourist visa. The entry permit allows frequent visitors to enter the United Arab Emirates multiple times across a five-year period without applying for a new visa prior to each trip.
Under the regulations, visa holders can stay in the country for up to 90 consecutive days per entry. The stay may be extended for an additional 90 days subject to approval, provided the total cumulative duration of stay within a single year does not exceed 180 days.
Applicants must possess a passport valid for at least six months from the application date. A key requirement is a bank statement covering the preceding six months, demonstrating a minimum balance of $4,000 (USD) or its equivalent in foreign currency. Additional mandatory documentation includes a recent personal photograph, valid health insurance covering the UAE, a confirmed return flight ticket, and proof of accommodation, such as a hotel booking or residential address.
Applications must be submitted through GDRFA Dubai’s official digital service channels. Users can log in using UAE Pass or registered portal credentials, navigate to the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa option, upload the required documentation, and settle the processing fees. Applications are also accepted via Amer service centres. Processing typically takes up to 48 hours, with approved e-visas delivered directly to the applicant’s registered email address.
