Residents and visitors can share direct experiences to shape residency, entry permit, and visa services across digital and in-person touchpoints.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates : The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has launched a public survey seeking direct feedback from citizens, residents, and visitors to refine its administrative services and digital channels.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai is gathering public feedback through an institutional reputation survey designed to evaluate customer satisfaction across its visa, residency, and border entry operations.
The initiative invites users to complete a one-minute questionnaire available in Arabic and English, accessible via an official Dubai Government survey portal and scanned QR codes on department circulars.

Participants evaluate the speed, clarity, and ease of recent transactions. The questionnaire asks users to assess service efficiency, flag bureaucratic bottlenecks, and recommend procedural adjustments for residency renewals, entry permits, and airport smart gates.
Officials stated that public responses will directly inform ongoing upgrades to both online platforms and customer happiness centres. The Directorate confirmed that all submitted responses remain confidential and are handled under government privacy standards.
GDRFA Dubai processes tens of millions of passenger entries, residency visas, and work permits annually. Over recent years, the department has transitioned most front-counter transactions to smartphone applications, online web portals, and biometric corridors at Dubai International Airport.
Feedback collected through the exercise will help identify service strengths alongside touchpoints requiring operational intervention, ensuring digital services match changing user expectations across the emirate.
