Mohammad Al Gergawi says the initiative embodies the emirate’s philosophy of turning ambitious concepts into world-class reality in record time
DUBAI, Oct. 6 :Dubai has unveiled ‘Dubai-it’, an initiative launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum that formalizes the emirate’s hallmark execution model—delivering high-impact, transformative projects at unprecedented speed and quality.
The initiative, announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reflects an institutional mindset built on rapid execution, innovation, and uncompromising standards.
Explaining the vision behind the move, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, noted that the term has evolved beyond a formal government program into a cultural lexicon for high performance.
According to Al Gergawi, the phrase captures how residents, partners, and institutions perceive the city’s ability to compress decadal milestones into record delivery windows. The premise focuses on four core tenets: dreaming big, converting operational challenges into strategic opportunities, executing at global benchmarks, and finishing well ahead of international norms.
“Deliver the extraordinary, with excellence, in record time,” Al Gergawi said, describing the philosophy that has driven Dubai’s transition into an international hub for commerce, tourism, and advanced technologies.
The emirate’s operational model has consistently relied on public-private agility, streamlined bureaucratic channels, and continuous digital transformation. With ‘Dubai-it’, the government seeks to embed this institutional discipline across all public entities, future investments, and developmental frameworks, setting an operational benchmark for cities worldwide.
