Interactive platform at Dubai World Trade Centre features smart inquiry tools, lost-and-found tracking, and visitor protection services

DUBAI, Sept. 14, 2026 : Dubai Police opened an interactive platform at Arabian Travel Market 2026 on Monday, presenting a suite of digital protection services and automated assistance tools designed for international visitors and the travel industry.

Organized by the Tourist Police Department within the General Department of Criminal Investigation, the exhibition presence at the Dubai World Trade Centre focuses on frontline safety services, rapid dispute resolution, and crime prevention.

Delegates and visitors touring the trade show can test several smart platforms deployed across Dubai to safeguard tourists. Demonstrations cover the primary Dubai Police mobile app, the “Police Eye” community-reporting channel, and the integrated Tourist Support system, which processes visitor inquiries, transit-related disputes, and urgent advisories.

The force is also showcasing the digital Circulars and Travel Bans inquiry tool, enabling travelers and corporate travel coordinators to verify legal status before transit, alongside Dubai’s automated Smart Lost and Found system, which connects hotels, airports, and transport hubs into a centralized recovery registry.

Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, stated that annual participation at ATM maintains critical alignment between law enforcement and the hospitality ecosystem. Direct engagement with commercial carriers, hotel operators, and travel agencies allows the department to adapt its safety protocols to evolving travel patterns.

Beyond physical safety, the platform addresses online risks confronting travelers. Throughout the multi-day industry gathering, Dubai Police officers will run specialized advisory briefings covering payment fraud, accommodation scams, and cybercrime defense.

The Esaad Card Centre also shares the pavilion, outlining retail, hospitality, and emergency-support benefits extended to qualifying visitors and residents.

Colonel Mohammad Abdulrahman, Director of the Tourist Police Department, emphasized that tourist policing in the emirate relies heavily on preemptive support rather than conventional intervention. The department’s focus remains on frictionless digital access, ensuring that tourists resolve logistical, security, or documentation complications on mobile devices without visiting a physical station.
