Dubai Police have successfully recovered and returned a bag containing luxury watches and electronic devices worth AED 103,880 to a GCC traveller after it was misplaced at Dubai International Airport.

The incident occurred in the arrivals area of Terminal 1, where the traveller reported the missing bag to the Lost and Found Office after discovering it had been misplaced.

According to Colonel Abdullah Faisal Al Dosari, the operations room immediately launched a coordinated search operation upon receiving the report.

“The operations room immediately launched a coordinated response, reviewing the traveller’s movements and assigning a dedicated foot patrol team to search for the missing item,” Al Dosari said.

The search team quickly traced the traveller’s route and located the bag in the arrivals hall. Following its recovery, officers conducted an inspection and found that it contained three luxury watches with a combined value of AED 103,880, in addition to a laptop and a tablet.

After completing the necessary legal procedures and verifying ownership, Dubai Police returned the bag and all its contents to the traveller.

The owner expressed his appreciation to Dubai Police, praising the speed of the response, the professionalism of the officers involved, and their commitment to protecting travellers’ belongings and returning lost property to its rightful owners.

Dubai Police said the incident reflects the force’s ongoing efforts to maintain security and provide exceptional services to residents, visitors, and travellers passing through the emirate’s airports.
