The ‘Shade and Reward’ initiative reached 1,275 laborers across Dubai, reinforcing workplace safety standards and occupational health protocols.
DUBAI — Dubai Police’s Positive Spirit Council has concluded its seven-week ‘Shade and Reward’ awareness initiative, an outreach campaign aimed at promoting occupational health, safety, and well-being among the emirate’s workforce.
The campaign directly engaged 1,275 workers across multiple industrial and construction sites in Dubai. Organizers focused on training participants in essential workplace safety standards, heat-mitigation practices, and the maintenance of personal health protocols.
Representatives from the Positive Spirit Council conducted interactive sessions highlighting the critical role that adherence to safety measures plays in preventing workplace injuries and maintaining overall quality of life. Officials emphasized that safeguarding workers’ physical well-being forms a cornerstone of Dubai Police’s ongoing community-focused missions.
“The initiative reflects our dedicated efforts to enhance workers’ quality of life, cultivate workplace safety, and foster social responsibility across all sectors of society,” said a Dubai Police spokesperson. The authority confirmed it will continue launching targeted social programs aimed at improving working conditions and raising safety consciousness throughout the emirate.
