DUBAI: In a significant push toward community wellness and national celebration, the Dubai Police has invited residents and cycling enthusiasts to participate in the ‘Proud of UAE’ cycling race this Sunday. Organized in collaboration with the UAE Cycling Federation, the event is designed to foster a spirit of unity while promoting an active, healthy lifestyle across the emirate.
Race Details and Route
The competition features a challenging 60km route, open to both men and women aged 18 and above. The race is scheduled to flag off at 6:00 AM from the Nad Al Sheba Police Station. Participants will traverse key scenic and strategic routes within the area before looping back to the starting point. Organizers anticipate the race will conclude within approximately four hours.
A major highlight of the event is the substantial prize pool. A total of Dh264,000 has been allocated to reward the top ten finishers, a move expected to attract a high caliber of professional cyclists alongside dedicated amateurs and fitness-focused residents.
