Dubai: Dubai Sunni Centre for Islamic Education celebrated UAE Flag Day with a vibrant assembly highlighting the national flag as a symbol of the country’s dreams, pride and values.
The assembly noted that the UAE – a dream cradled in the hearts of millions of expatriates – stands tall as a beacon of tolerance, unity and progress, the very values Flag Day illuminates. It observed that the UAE flag is not merely a fabric of colours, but the woven dream, pride and soul of a nation.
The gathering paid homage to the Founding Father, the late H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and to the nation’s rulers and martyrs who dedicated their lives to the country’s development.

Students were reminded of their duty to contribute to and pray for the continued welfare and prosperity of the UAE, a nation that warmly embraces expatriate communities.
Principal P.P. Ibrahim Faizy hoisted the UAE flag, while M.A. Salam Rahmani delivered the Flag Day address.
