The UAE telecom operator rolls out discounted fiber, wireless, and mobile packages alongside device offers for the new academic year.
DUBAI, August 21, 2026:Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has launched its annual back-to-school promotional campaign, offering rate cuts of up to 50 per cent on select post-paid mobile plans alongside discounts across home broadband packages.
The Dubai-based telecommunications provider announced that the half-price promotion applies to selected Power Plans for the first six months of subscription. The seasonal push comes as families across the UAE prepare for the 2026–2027 academic year, where digital infrastructure and remote connectivity remain critical components of educational delivery.
Prepaid subscribers subscribing to annual Flexi plans will receive a bonus allocation of 60GB of mobile data, designed to support remote study and high-volume usage on the move.
The promotional suite extends to fixed-line residential services. Customers signing up for Home Fibre connections receive a 20 per cent discount, while Home Wireless subscriptions carry a 10 per cent reduction. The operator has also bundled hardware promotions into the package, marking down prices across select devices, laptops, and accessories to support students returning to classrooms.
Demand for high-speed data typically surges in the UAE during late August as residents return from summer holidays and educational institutions resume operations. Telecom operators across the Gulf frequently leverage the back-to-school corridor to lock in long-term mobile and home broadband contracts through temporary price reductions and bonus data allowances.
Details regarding contract durations, eligibility criteria, and activation timelines are available through du’s official digital sales channels and retail outlets across the country.
