Abu Dhabi-based firm unveils new enterprise data and agentic AI platforms at AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026, backing national self-reliance goals.

ABU DHABI, Oct. 7, 2026 : The United Arab Emirates’ push to anchor itself as an international hub for advanced computing is gathering pace on the back of homegrown research and software development, Saal.ai Chief Executive Officer Vikraman Poduval said on Tuesday.

The United Arab Emirates’ push to anchor itself as an international hub for advanced computing is gathering pace on the back of homegrown research and software development, Saal.ai Chief Executive Officer Vikraman Poduval said on Tuesday.

Speaking on the sidelines of the AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 summit, Poduval pointed to accelerating momentum across the Emirates’ tech sector, emphasizing that indigenous engineering remains essential to securing sovereign technical capability.

“The ecosystem is expanding rapidly,” Poduval told the Emirates News Agency (WAM). He reaffirmed the Abu Dhabi-headquartered company’s strategy of building localized platforms designed to support the country’s broader digital transformation agenda.

During the industry gathering, the artificial intelligence and big data firm introduced two enterprise products engineered in the UAE: an integrated data preparation engine built to clean and structure complex client data, and a deployment platform tailored for enterprise “agentic AI”—autonomous systems capable of executing complex workflows without continuous human intervention.

Poduval framed the event as an operational springboard for domestic innovators seeking direct commercial engagement with regional enterprise buyers. Developing domestic software and retaining regional engineering talent, he argued, will directly determine whether the country can sustain its digital independence as computing infrastructure expands.

The UAE has committed tens of billions of dollars across sovereign wealth funds, public-private partnerships, and digital ministries to position itself as a major testing ground and operational center for artificial intelligence in the Middle East. For firms operating in the capital, translating policy incentives into production-grade systems remains the core benchmark of progress.

Poduval said domestic enterprises must focus on creating end-to-end tooling that matches global performance standards while directly addressing the specific compliance, language, and operational requirements of GCC businesses.
