The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai have announced an important transition in the provision of Indian consular services across the UAE, with a new service provider set to take over operations from July 1, 2026.
As part of the transition process, the current service providers, BLS International for passport and visa services and SGIVS Global for attestation services, will stop accepting new applications after the close of business on June 25, 2026.
Between June 26 and June 30, regular appointments for passport, visa, and attestation services will not be available to the public as the transition is completed.
During this period, the Embassy of India and the Consulate General of India will directly handle emergency consular services, including passport, visa, and attestation requests.

From July 1, consular services will be managed by Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC, which will operate a new appointment portal for applicants. The portal is expected to be launched shortly ahead of the transition.
To improve accessibility and customer service, Al Hind will establish 16 dedicated consular service centres across all seven emirates. The largest centre will be located in Bur Dubai and will feature 45 service counters, significantly expanding service capacity for Indian expatriates in Dubai.
The move is expected to streamline consular services and enhance convenience for the large Indian community residing across the UAE.
