H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum witnessed the signing of two strategic cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening collaboration between Dubai and Sweden in the fields of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and healthcare innovation.
The agreements were signed during Sheikha Latifa’s official visit to Sweden, where she led a high-level UAE delegation comprising ministers and senior government officials. The visit focused on expanding bilateral cooperation, exchanging expertise, and exploring opportunities for sustainable partnerships in future-focused sectors.
The agreements reflect Dubai’s commitment to building global partnerships with leading international organisations and leveraging advanced expertise to support innovation and economic development.
The first agreement was signed between Digital Dubai and Ericsson, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure, 5G networks, and digital transformation solutions.
The agreement was signed by Matar AlHemeiri and Petra Schirren.
The partnership aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices in digital transformation and artificial intelligence while supporting the development of advanced digital systems that contribute to Dubai’s ongoing transformation into a smart city.
The second agreement was signed between Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Health, and Kry, Europe’s largest digital healthcare company.
The agreement seeks to strengthen cooperation in health technology, digital healthcare solutions, and innovation initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare services and patient outcomes.
It was signed by Dr. Amer Sharif, Asma Al Sharif, and Johannes Schildt.
Officials said the agreements support Dubai’s broader vision of becoming a global hub for innovation, digital transformation, and advanced healthcare services through strategic international partnerships.
