Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 31 August 2026: In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, National Bonds has announced the launch of “Emirati Flex Friday”, a new flexible working initiative designed to strengthen the organization’s employee value proposition and further support the development and retention of UAE National female talent.

The initiative is a strategic decision led by National Bonds’ GCEO, Mr. Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, reflecting his vision of building a modern, high performing workplace where Emirati female talent is empowered through greater flexibility, trust and autonomy.

Effective 28 August 2026, eligible UAE female National employees will be able to work remotely every Friday, subject to business requirements and the organization’s expectations around performance, availability and collaboration.

A Strategic Investment in Emirati Female Talent

The launch of “Emirati Flex Friday” reflects National Bonds’ belief that the future of work requires organizations to evolve beyond traditional approaches and create environments that enable talented people to perform at their best.

The initiative is designed around a simple principle:

Greater flexibility must be matched by greater accountability.

Employees will continue to be responsible for their agreed objectives, deliverables, availability, meetings, responsiveness and collaboration with their colleagues and stakeholders.

The initiative therefore represents a trust-based approach to performance, where employees are given greater autonomy while remaining fully accountable for business outcomes.

Leadership Vision

The decision by Mr. Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, GCEO of National Bonds, reflects a broader leadership commitment to strengthening the organization’s proposition for UAE National Female talent.

“Our Emirati female talent is fundamental to the future of National Bonds and to the continued success of the UAE. Empowerment is not simply about creating opportunities; it is about creating an environment where our people are trusted to perform, grow and lead. Emirati Flex Friday reflects our commitment to building a workplace that is progressive, flexible and fit for the future, while remaining firmly anchored in accountability and performance.”

The initiative demonstrates that flexibility can be approached as a strategic talent and performance enabler, rather than simply an employee benefit.

Supporting the UAE’s Future Workforce

The launch also aligns with National Bonds’ broader commitment to developing and retaining UAE National talent and contributing to the UAE’s ambitions for a highly skilled, engaged and future ready national workforce.

For Emirati employees, flexibility can provide greater autonomy in managing professional and personal responsibilities while continuing to pursue career development and high performance.

For the organization, the initiative strengthens the employee value proposition and supports National Bonds’ ambition to remain an employer of choice for UAE National talent.

A Meaningful Launch on Emirati Women’s Day

The timing of the announcement is particularly significant.

Emirati Women’s Day provides an opportunity to recognize the achievements of Emirati women and their increasingly important contribution to the UAE’s economic, social and institutional development.

National Bonds believes that supporting Emirati women and the wider UAE National workforce requires more than recognition. It requires creating workplaces where national talent can participate, progress, lead and achieve their full potential.

“Emirati Flex Friday” is one such commitment.

It represents a modern approach to employee experience, built on four principles:

Trust. Flexibility. Empowerment. Performance.

As National Bonds continues to evolve its workplace for the future, the organization remains committed to creating an environment where its Emirati talent can thrive and where flexibility is ultimately measured by the value and performance it enables.
