The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting Diori Hamani International Airport in the capital of Niger, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the UAE’s firm condemnation of terrorist and criminal acts that threaten security, stability, and the safety of civilians.
The ministry stressed the UAE’s consistent rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism aimed at undermining peace and destabilising societies.
MoFA also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Niger, following what it described as a heinous terrorist attack.
The UAE further conveyed its wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured in the incident.
The statement reiterated the UAE’s solidarity with Niger in confronting terrorism and efforts to preserve national security and stability.
