Steady demand and international market dynamics fuel ongoing rally across retail bullion rates in Dubai and the Emirates.

DUBAI, UAE:Retail gold prices in the United Arab Emirates recorded a fresh surge, with 24-karat gold reaching AED 523.25 per gram, as strong global market cues and sustained regional retail demand continue to push precious metal rates upward.

Retail bullion markets across Dubai and the wider UAE registered notable increases across all key purities. Data released by the Dubai Jewellery Group shows 22-karat gold rising to AED 484.50 per gram, while 18-karat gold traded at AED 398.25 per gram.

The upward trajectory reflects persistent volatility in global spot gold markets, driven by international economic shifts, currency fluctuations, and investor demand for safe-haven assets. Local retailers report that despite the higher price points, buyer interest remains steady among residents and tourists, particularly in traditional gold trading hubs like the Dubai Gold Souk.

Jewellery retailers in the country update prices multiple times daily in alignment with international spot rates. Market analysts attribute the sustained high prices to global macroeconomic conditions, including interest rate expectations and global trade dynamics, which continue to influence international bullion indices.

Retailers advise consumers to track daily rate disclosures from official industry bodies, as localized price adjustments remain strictly linked to international market movements throughout trading hours.
