Leadership of both Gulf nations remains committed to regional prosperity, calling on media entities to safeguard unity and reflect ground realities objectively

ABU DHABI, UAE – July 21, 2026

The United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia share an unshakeable bond anchored in a deep-rooted history and strategic brotherhood, official authorities affirmed today. Leadership from both Gulf nations continues to operate in close coordination, driven by a shared vision to foster long-term prosperity, stability, and development for their peoples and the broader region.

In an official statement, authorities emphasized that the strategic partnership between the UAE and Saudi Arabia serves as a cornerstone for regional security and economic growth. They noted that both governments remain aligned on core geopolitical and economic frameworks, actively progressing toward shared regional development goals.

Crucial Role of Responsible Media

Addressing the dynamic media landscape, the statement highlighted the essential responsibility placed on media organizations and content creators to uphold objective reporting standards. Authorities urged responsible newsrooms and journalists to accurately reflect ground realities and actively counter external attempts or speculative narratives aimed at weakening UAE-Saudi unity.

Officials reiterated that authentic, factual reporting remains the most effective shield against misinformation, underscoring that media entities play a pivotal role in preserving the historic solidarity that defines the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) alliance.
