UAE leadership stands in absolute solidarity with Kuwait, affirming unwavering support for its security and regional stability.

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation following an Iranian attack targeting the State of Kuwait. In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs vehemently denounced the aggression, labeling it a blatant violation of international law and a severe threat to regional peace and security.

Expressing deep concern over the escalating geopolitical tensions in the Arabian Gulf, the UAE reasserted its absolute solidarity with the government and people of Kuwait. Authorities emphasized that any security threat directed at Kuwait is considered a direct challenge to the collective stability and safety of the entire Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Unwavering Support and GCC Solidarity

The UAE’s diplomatic stance underscores a unified regional front against external threats. The Ministry reiterated that the security of the UAE and that of Kuwait are deeply intertwined, stating that the leadership remains committed to supporting all measures Kuwait deems necessary to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its citizens.

“The United Arab Emirates strongly condemns the cowardly attack targeting our sisterly nation, Kuwait. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Kuwait against any attempts to undermine its security, and we call upon the international community to take a decisive stance against such provocative actions that threaten maritime and regional peace.”

A Matter of Serious Concern for Gulf Expatriates

The sudden surge in regional hostilities has drawn close attention from the massive expatriate community living across the GCC, including the extensive Gulf Malayali diaspora. Given Kuwait and the UAE’s roles as prominent hubs for millions of global workers, developments of this scale trigger widespread concern regarding security protocols, travel, and regional stability.

Diplomatic analysts suggest that the UAE’s rapid and formal condemnation is intended to deter further escalation and reassure both citizens and expatriates that GCC defense and diplomatic coordination remain exceptionally robust.
