Dubai: The UAE is in for a partly cloudy and humid weekend, with occasional dusty winds and a growing chance of fog early next week, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has announced.
According to the weather bureau, Friday will see partly cloudy to cloudy conditions at times, especially over the northern and eastern parts of the country. Residents can expect a humid night heading into Saturday morning across several coastal regions. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will freshen at times—reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h—which may trigger blowing dust in eastern areas. Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
Saturday will follow a similar pattern, featuring fair to partly cloudy skies with persistent overnight humidity.
As the week progresses, the NCM forecasts humidity to spread further into inland areas from Sunday through Monday. This spike in moisture increases the probability of fog or mist forming during the early morning hours. By Monday, while daytime conditions will remain generally fair with a few clouds over eastern areas, the overnight humidity will persist, bringing another chance of morning fog or mist on Tuesday.
