ABU DHABI :The United Arab Emirates has intensified its large-scale clean water distribution campaign across the Gaza Strip under “Operation Gallant Knight 3,” delivering millions of liters of safe drinking water daily to address critical shortages in severely affected displacement camps and urban neighborhoods.
Humanitarian teams working under the initiative continue to operate specialized desalination pipelines and mobile water tankers across multiple sectors of Gaza, where municipal infrastructure remains largely destroyed or paralyzed. The effort forms a core pillar of Abu Dhabi’s ongoing relief response, designed to mitigate severe public health risks and the spread of waterborne diseases among vulnerable civilian populations.
Official field reports confirm that UAE humanitarian logistics teams have deployed mobile water purification units and organized continuous daily deliveries to areas facing acute shortages. Beyond direct trucking operations, the UAE previously constructed dedicated desalination plants along the Egyptian border in Al Arish, pumping millions of gallons of purified water daily through specialized pipelines into southern Gaza.
