The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai organized a special gathering titled ‘You Matter Most 2026’ aimed at strengthening employee relations and enhancing the workplace environment.
The event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, was attended by Director General Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Deputy Director General Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, senior officials, assistant directors from various departments, and employees of the directorate.
Through this initiative, GDRFA seeks to promote direct communication between leadership and staff, foster a positive work culture rooted in mutual respect, and prioritize employee satisfaction and efficiency. The gathering also aimed to provide employees with a platform to share their views and suggestions.



Assistant Directors General discussed future plans and the role of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, in enhancing services. The event featured a dedicated segment titled “Your Voice Is Heard,” allowing employees to directly convey their feedback and ideas to the leadership.
Addressing the gathering, Director General Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri stated that employees are among the most important partners in GDRFA’s success journey. He emphasized that direct interaction with staff and listening to their concerns is vital for institutional growth, adding that investment in human capital is the most significant and sustainable form of investment.
Deputy Director General Maj. Gen. Obaid Muhair bin Suroor noted that such initiatives help strengthen trust and transparency among employees, and that listening to staff feedback enables faster decision-making and improved organizational performance.
GDRFA explained that these initiatives align with the UAE’s labor policies and vision, aiming to ensure a positive and motivating work environment for employees.
