Donald Trump states Washington can rapidly target Iran’s remaining nuclear infrastructure if necessary, claiming past strikes neutralized previous capabilities.
WASHINGTON, United States — US President Donald Trump stated on Monday night that the United States is capable of launching a strike against Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain facility within an hour if deemed necessary.
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Trump asserted that Washington retains the capability to rapidly target Iran’s remaining nuclear infrastructure. He maintained that previous operations had already dismantled the country’s potential nuclear capacity.
“We bombed out all of their potential nuclear power. Now, we might have to go after Pickaxe, but that’s not a big deal,” Trump said during the broadcast.
Trump emphasized the speed and readiness of a potential operation against the suspected site. “We can do it in, literally, we can do that in one hour, okay, as soon as we want, at any time we want,” he added.
