According to the airline, 16 of these flights will be regular scheduled services, while 62 flights will operate as additional non-scheduled (ad hoc) services, depending on slot availability and other operational conditions at departure airports. The flights are being operated with the necessary approvals from relevant Indian and local aviation authorities.

  • Air India Express will operate one flight each from Kozhikode and Mangaluru to Jeddah and back.

For Muscat, Air India Express will operate eight scheduled flights, including one round trip each from Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode and Mumbai.

Besides scheduled operations, the Air India group will run 62 additional flights to destinations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

These flights will connect major UAE cities including:

  • Dubai

Flights will depart from Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Kozhikode, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru.

Additional services are also planned for Riyadh.

Temporary Suspension on Some Routes

Flights to certain West Asian destinations, including Doha, Kuwait City, Manama, Tel Aviv, Salalah, and Dammam, remain temporarily suspended

However, all Air India flights to North America, Europe, Australia, and other international destinations continue to operate as scheduled.

Rebooking and Refund Options

Air India passengers can manage bookings through the airline’s official website or contact the 24-hour customer support helpline. Meanwhile, Air India Express passengers can also rebook flights through the airline’s AI-powered digital assistant “Tia” on WhatsApp.

The Air India group said it is continuing to explore opportunities to add more ad-hoc flights to and from West Asia based on operational feasibility.
