Dubai: A new initiative aimed at helping nurses obtain Australian nursing registration has been launched under the name Global Nurse Empowerment (GNE) – Australia. The program is designed to create new career pathways for nurses from the Gulf region, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and India who aspire to work in Australia.
According to the organizers, all the necessary training required for the registration process will be provided through Flyworld Academy in Dubai and India. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Australia International Malayalee Nurses Association (AIMNA) and several nursing associations from the Gulf countries, India, and the UK.
The official inauguration of the program was held at the Flyworld GCC Corporate Office in Dubai, and the event was inaugurated by R.J. Midhun. Key officials present included Daniel Johny, Flyworld GCC Regional Head; Rashik Rajan, Regional Manager; Prof. Betty Roy, Head of the OSCE Department; and Anitha Jacob, Dubai Manager.
The main objective of the GNE – Australia program is to reduce the challenges faced by nurses seeking Australian nursing registration. The program will provide practical training and guidance to help candidates confidently face examinations such as English language tests, NCLEX-RN, and OSCE, along with specialized job interview training.
Officials also stated that a team of lawyers led by Australian Migration Lawyer Adv. Thara S. Namboothiri, who has assisted many nurses in obtaining Australian nursing registration, will provide legal guidance to ensure candidates meet all necessary requirements.
Through this initiative, organizers aim to empower nurses with the skills, knowledge, and legal support needed to successfully obtain Australian nursing registration and pursue professional opportunities in Australia.
