Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the revised service hours for its various services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday 1447 AH / 2026, which will run from Thursday, March 19 to Saturday, March 21.
According to RTA, vehicle technical inspection centres operated by service providers will remain closed during the holiday period. These centres will resume operations on Sunday, March 22, at locations including Tasjeel Al Twar, AutoPro Al Mankhool, Tasjeel Al Awir, Tasjeel Discovery Gardens, Al Yalayis, Shamil Al Muhaisnah, Al Mutakamela Al Quoz, and Shamil Nad Al Hamar. If Ramadan completes 30 days, the holiday may extend until Sunday, March 22 for all service provider centres.



All Customer Happiness Centres will also remain closed during the holiday. However, the Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre and Smart Customer Happiness Centres located in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, Al Kifaf, and RTA Head Office will continue to operate 24 hours as usual.
Metro and Tram
Dubai Metro’s Red Line and Green Line stations will operate from March 18 to March 21 between 5:00 am and 1:00 am (next day). On Sunday, March 22, metro services will run from 8:00 am to 1:00 am (next day).
Dubai Tram will run from 6:00 am to 1:00 am (next day) between Wednesday and Saturday, and from 9:00 am to 1:00 am (next day) on Sunday.
Bus and Marine Transport
Passengers are advised to check the S’hail app for updates on Dubai Bus and marine transport services, including Water Taxi, Dubai Ferry, abras, and electric heritage abras.
RTA also announced that Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will not operate from the afternoon of March 18 until March 22. During this period, commuters can use Bus Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi, while Bus Route E102 will operate from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Musaffah from March 19 to March 22.
Public Parking
All public parking spaces in Dubai will be free of charge from the first day of Eid until the end of the third day, except for multi-storey parking facilities. Regular parking tariffs will resume on the fourth day of Eid.
RTA advised residents and visitors to check official channels and digital platforms for any updates regarding transport services during the holiday period.
