Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has advised motorists to plan their journeys in advance this weekend, warning of expected traffic delays around Alserkal Avenue due to the Quoz Arts Fest.
The two-day cultural festival will take place on Saturday, 24 January, and Sunday, 25 January 2026, within the Al Quoz Creative Zone. To facilitate festival activities and ensure public safety, temporary road closures and traffic diversions will be implemented in the surrounding area.
According to the RTA, 17th Street will be closed from 11:00 pm on Friday, 23 January, until 5:00 am on Monday, 26 January. During this period, motorists are advised to use the service road connecting First Al Khail Street to Al Jreena Street as an alternative route.
In addition, the service road linking Al Jreena Street to First Al Khail Street will be closed from 10:30 pm until 3:30 pm on both Friday, 24 January, and Saturday, 25 January.
The RTA has urged drivers to allow extra travel time, follow directional signage, and use navigation apps to avoid congestion. Public transport users are also encouraged to check service updates in advance.
