The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai delivered an outstanding performance at the Cycling Championship organised by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), securing a major victory at the event held at Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
In a highly competitive 40-kilometre men’s race, GDRFA Dubai achieved a remarkable clean sweep by claiming the top three positions. Ahmed Al Mansoori crossed the finish line in first place, followed by Kirill Miller in second, while Abdul Aziz Al Hajri secured third place. The podium sweep by a single team stood out as one of the most notable highlights of the championship.

GDRFA Dubai continued its dominance in the women’s category as well, with Maddie Black delivering an impressive performance to clinch first place and win the gold medal. Her display of speed and endurance further strengthened the team’s overall success at the championship.
Trophies and medals were presented to the winners during the closing ceremony by senior ICP officials, who highlighted the role of such sporting events in promoting a culture of fitness, teamwork, and wellbeing among government personnel.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, congratulated the winning team on their achievement. He stated that the victory reflects not only sporting excellence but also the discipline, commitment, and rigorous training of the officers. He reaffirmed GDRFA Dubai’s dedication to excellence in sports alongside professional performance, noting that the achievement underscores the organisation’s commitment to holistic development and physical fitness.
