Staged alongside the Central European Arabian Derby at Tor Służewiec, the €200,000 Group 3 clash concludes the series’ 33rd continental tour.
WARSAW, Poland : Eleven top-tier Purebred Arabian horses will contest the fifteenth leg of the UAE President’s Cup at Warsaw’s Tor Służewiec on Sunday, marking the final stop of the prestigious series’ European circuit.
The €200,000 Group 3 race brings down the curtain on the continental phase of the 33rd edition. Organized as an integral fixture of the Central European Arabian Derby, the 2,000-metre turf test is reserved exclusively for four-year-old Purebred Arabians. Post time is scheduled for 7:42 PM UAE time (5:42 PM local time in Warsaw).
At the head of the field is a high-profile showdown between two prominent Qatari racing stables. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani’s Farooqe Al Shahania, conditioned by French trainer Xavier Thomas-Demeaulte and partnered with jockey Hugo Mouesan, squares off against Khaddah. Running in the silks of Wathnan Racing, Khaddah enters under the care of trainer Alban de Mieulle, with Qatari rider Faleh Bughenaim booked for the mount.
Libyan owners also arrive with significant representation, fielding three contenders. Mustafa Ahmed Teeka’s Ghazan du Soleil joins Arctyc de Tese, campaigned by Emad Aldeen Alhtoushi and Mohammed Osama Zebar. Al Leith Racing completes the North African challenge with Mahdi du Breuil.
The competitive eleven-horse lineup is rounded out by established names, including Agar Al Khalediah, Hayan Al Khalediah, Stefanos, and Ammas.
The Polish fixture caps a demanding European schedule that has taken the world’s leading Arabian bloodlines across several historic venues. The series serves as a pillar in the UAE’s sustained cultural and sporting drive to safeguard the heritage of the Purebred Arabian while reinforcing global breeding and racing infrastructure.
Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the UAE President’s Cup, said concluding the 33rd edition’s European tour demonstrates the championship’s reach and stability across global racing jurisdictions.
“We are proud of the distinguished presence the European tour has secured for the Prestigious Cup this season — a direct extension of the support of the UAE’s leadership,” Al Dhaheri said. “Through the 33rd edition, we continue to deliver on the Cup’s objectives of broadening participation, supporting owners and breeders, and raising the standard of races dedicated to the Arabian horse. We look forward to a successful European finale that builds on the gains of the previous legs and sets the stage for upcoming international rounds.”
Following Sunday’s race in the Polish capital, the series transitions to its upcoming worldwide fixtures outside Europe.
